Cowboy, newspaperman, hobo, soldier, communist, pacifist, author and finally, Catholic convert. This was the extraordinary life of the Nonconformist minister  of Trinity Church, Walthamstow (1906 to 1917), Rev Stanley B. James. His grandson, Forest Gate resident Robert Nurden, charts his unconventional life, based on his biography Between Heaven and Earth.
